I have been a long time chiropractic patient and as soon as my children were born they too became patients of Dr. Bailey.  My daughter, Jessamy had her first adjustment three days after her birth and my son, William has been seeing Dr. Bailey since he was four days old.  I have always beleived in the benefits of chiropractic care for the health and well being of my family. At the age of six months my son started tugging on his ears which I knew meant that an ear infection was developing.  I brought him in for a few extra adjustments to help him over come the infection.  He was able to remain frug free which is very importnat to me.  Asthma was the next thing to present itself inWilliam.  Again, back to Dr. Bailey for the chiropractic care.  At the first sign of a cough or wheezy breathing he gets adjusted.  By the time William was two his speech was poorly developed and he seemed to be at a standstil with his vocabulary development.  I spoke with Shelly, my sister about it and we thought that William, most likely, was having difficulty with his ears draining properly and thus affecting his hearing and speech.  I knew that Dr. Bailey would be able to aid him with normal speech development once the fluid had been drained from his ears.  Dr. Bailey assessed WEilliam and asked me to bring him in weekly for two months.  He is now on a bi-weekly schedule.  Williams' speech development has increased by more than double from the level at which he was communicating 10 weeks ago.

 Chiropractic care has allowed  my son to hear more clearly and allowed him to communicate through words.  Dr. Bailey is and always has been amazing with the children and I want to personally thank her for giving William the ability to hear and speak...clearly!!!

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the assistance you've provided in helping us to get back to being healthy over the past year.  After we moved to Guelph last May, we found ourselves in the situation of needing to find a chiropractor. We had been regular weekly patients of a chiropractor in Missisauga, but found that we just weren;t able to get back to their office enough.  Spending two months renovating our house in Guelph then moving here and continuing the renovations, plus the stress of daling with a sick family member and the demands of our jobs were taking a their toll.

Both of us are big beleivers in the healing power of chiropractic care.  I started seeing a chiropractor after waking up with a pinching sensation in my neck one morning about 12 years ago.  Within a day, I couldn't move my neck at all and had excruciating pain that stranded me flat on my back at my parents for three days.  A trip to the doctor's office provided me with pain killers, anti-inflammatories and muscle relaxants, but after a week of taking pills, and with my left arm and hand comletely numb, I was no further ahead.  My friend recommended seeing a chiropractor and I was in enough pain to try anything.  After a couple of months, I could feel a major difference.  It took almost two years for the feeling to return completely to my left index finger, and to this day it continues to be a barometer for the tenderness and strain that I am carrying in my back.

A pleasant side effect of the regular chiropractic care is the improvement in my allergy symptoms. Having been diagnosed in my late 20s with severe allergies, I was using an allergy pill and a sinus pill in the morning and again at night.  Now, I rarely take a pill.  Even more recently, chiropractic care has helped me to keep the beginnings of arthritis in my fingers (from all my years of playing hgih school sports) from swelling up my joints and to a stiffness rather than an aching pain.

 My husband's journey with chiropractic care began after mine, even after seeing the success I had.  A chronic lower back pain that began when he played high school football would often flare up and sideline him, but it took getting a pnched nerve in his lower back before he would see a chiropactor.  He quickly became a chiropractic convert.

Even so, after more than 10 years as regular chiropractic pateints, our move to Guelph had turned our focus from looking after our health to looking after our house and family.  By tthe time we admitted we needed to look after ourselves, we were desparately in need of care.  Both of us were in pain, our backs locked with tension and stress and we were practically hobbling in to your office!  Your calm, reassuring manner and professional approach soon had us on a path to recovery.  I think we would even say we prefer your treatment to our previous experience, and it was great.

 All of your care has bn enhanced byt he wonderful caring of your complete team. The office staff are a pleasure to deal with and make the overall experience relaxing and enjoyable.
