Objective Insight into your Health
Our
assessment includes measuring the regulation of the nervous tissue. To
that end we employ the latest technology specifically designed to
measure the effects of stress and tension on your nervous tissue. The
changes in these measurements are then used to track your progress with
care.
We can complile the results of these measurements to obtain a composite score and report. This composite score is called a NeuroSpinal Functional Index or NSFI for short. It is a single number which tells volumes about how your nerves and spine work together and your health.
Your NSFI is based on the following five tests that assess the various ways the nerve tissue regulates your body and how well the nerves and spine work together:
I Pulse Wave Profile: PWP shows us how well your body can or cannot adjust
to stress in the environment.
II Surface Electro-Mylogram: SEMG measures the amount of energy and
balance in the muscles that support your spine.
III Thermal Scan: The thermal scan measures how well your body is regulating
the internal environment – meaning your organs and glands
(e.g. lungs, heart, digestion, kidney’s, liver etc.)
IV Digital Range of Motion: This measures how well the joints in your spine
move.
V Algometry: The Insight™ Algometer measures the sensitivity of tender areas.
