Naturopathic Doctor
Naturopathic Medicine is as the name implies a natural way to address medical conditions.
ND's or Naturopathic Doctors employ a variety of modalities including nutritional therapy, homeopathy, acupuncture and more to help their clients deal with a variety of issues from food sensitivities to thryoid problems.
We have two Naturopathic Doctors practicing at our clinic:
Dr Krista Vetter ND, has an additional web page with all the information you'll need to help decide if naturopathic medicine is for you. You will also find her client forms available for download: www.kristavetternd.ca
Appointments with Dr. Vetter can be made through the front desk. Payments can also be processed at the front desk, including cash, debit, cheque, visa or mastercard.
Dr. Elizabeth Cherevaty ND is a licensed and registered
Naturopathic Doctor (ND) and a graduate of the four-year, postgraduate Doctor
of Naturopathic Medicine program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic
Medicine. She is a professional member of the Ontario Association of
Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and an executive member of the Association of
Perinatal Naturopathic Doctors (APND). She also holds an honors degree in
Biomedical Toxicology from the University of Guelph. Dr. Cherevaty's client forms are available for download: www.guelphnaturopathic.com
During her childhood and adolescence, Elizabeth experienced
the benefits of naturopathic care and was deeply inspired to help others in a
similar healing capacity. In her clinical practice, she works with children and
families to address a broad range of acute and chronic health concerns using
safe, natural therapies that recognize and support the body’s innate ability to
heal itself.
Dr. Cherevaty has completed additional training and certification in the Bowen technique, homeopathic medicine, reiki, meditation & mind-body therapies and Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture and is pleased to offer these skills at the Gordon Street Chiropractic Centre. Dr. Elizabeth’s health-related articles have been featured in publications such as Viva and IHR Magazine. She has also served in volunteer medical projects in Kenya, India and Brazil.
In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys running, practicing yoga, being in nature, experimenting with healthy cooking ideas, and beachcombing with her husband.
