Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic Doctors

Naturopathic Medicine is as the name implies a natural way to address medical conditions.

ND's or Naturopathic Doctors employ a variety of modalities including nutritional therapy, homeopathy, acupuncture and more to help their clients deal with a variety of issues from food sensitivities to thyroid problems.

Dr. Lauren Hungler BSc., ND, is the Naturopath at our clinic

I believe the body is a powerful healer!  Each one of us has the innate

ability within ourselves to heal.  My goal is to support you and empower you to make positive changes in your health, for when we achieve that, medicine becomes simple.

My educational career started at the University of Guelph where I graduated with an Honours Biological Science degree. I have always had a passion for science and interacting with people  and decided that a career in healthcare was my future. At this stage I took a year off to decide what facet of healthcare best suited my value system.  Naturopathic Medicine was the obvious choice for me as it focused on patient centered care.  I then proceeded to continue a 4 year degree in Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine where I was extensively trained as a primary health care provider.

I look forward to working with you and your families and I pledge to listen  and work with you as an integral part of your health care team. My goal is to discover the underlying causes of your health issues and remove them when possible.  I am a physician who takes great pleasure in helping people like you achieve wellness, using therapies that are most compatible with your body.

I treat chronic and acute issues in people of all ages. I hope that In addition to being your doctor, I can become your teacher, counselor, detective, cheerleader and confidant.

Dr. Lauren grew up on an apple farm in a small town in Southwestern Ontario called Kingsville, however after her undergraduate degree in Guelph, she knew she would one day call Guelph home.  She now resides in the beautiful south end of Guelph with her husband Chris.  However, on weekends in the fall, you will see this ND commute home to her family farm to help with the apple harvest.  If your seeing Dr. Lauren in the fall, ask for your Free Apple !
